Problem area: Having combination skin with big pores has been a personal battle. While whitening was never really my main concern, uneven skin tone and some scars from stress-related breakouts.

SHISEIDO UV PERFECT PROTECTOR 

What it is: It's a suncare product that's somewhere between a light to medium cream. It aims to give sun protection with up to SPF 50+ with whitening properties and comes in a water resistant formula.

The product has a mild scent during application that disappears after a few seconds, which i really liked. It also comes in a pearly white bottle that you lightly squeeze to regulate the amount of cream you want to use.

Application: I incorporated this product to my usual morning regimen: cleansing and toning first, this, then my moisturizer. What I loved the most about it is that the texture is neither runny nor too thick, and doesn't generate any salved coating. It leaves a transparent finish without the usual white overcast that most sunscreen products have.

I've been using the product for more than two weeks already, everyday in the morning, and sometimes at night, too.

Results: Like I said, I wasn't very much concerned about whitening but since I'm always out under the sun, I knew I needed a very good sun protector. I think this product stayed true to what it claims as I noticed my skin has become fairer after only a few weeks. I've also noticed a more even skin tone and faded dark spots.

Recommendations: Girls who are out in the sun a lot should give this product a go and should actually use it everyday.
