With a theme like Alexander Mcqueen, I think everyone was expecting a little craziness to ensue at the recent Preview Best Dressed Ball. Although most chose decidedly muted beauty looks to keep the focus on their statement outifts, we spied a few ladies and gents gamely going beyond all beauty rules for shock-value. Purposely extravagant but all in good fun, these were the kind of hair and makeup trends you only get to witness unleashed on a night like the ball. Besides, what's a costume party without some excess?
