The Star Magic Ball is the one night a year that celebs can dig deep into their Cinderella complexes with layers of makeup, yards of tulle and ounces of hair spray whipping them into heightened versions of themselves. But aside from high-sitting updos and the sea of red lips that we spotted that night, another recurring theme was female celebrities looking unlike we're used to seeing them. Those that made us do a double take included Maricar Reyes with her slicked her hair back into fluid 20's finger waves, Cristine Reyes, who wiped off her usual Ruby Woo in favor of girl-next-door pinks and a youthful half-ponytail, and the usually natural Iya Villania who went the Anne Curtis Star Magic Ball 2010 edgy with a dark plum lip and tight ringlets.
