When you've done more than a handful of covers for one magazine in the last few years, there is a need to change up your look each time to avoid too much recall. For her sixth time as cover girl, Anne Curtis, under the care of makeup artist Robbie Piñera and hair stylist Raymond Santiago looked to the past for inspiration.
Taking cues from classically vintage beauty, Anne sported a luxe smokey eye painted in a heavy spectrum of browns and bronze. Lips were full on rouge using Anne's own favorite shade, Ruby Woo by Mac Cosmetics for a distinctively strong blue-red hue that little or no other lippies can replicate. And because nothing is finished without the perfect nail shade, Anne's tips were painted in a glossy chocolate brown looking sharp against her ivory Michael Cinco dress. And while the shoot served as a look-back to a time not to distant in the past, the result was one that highlighted techniques that prove to be still very relevant today.
