The Unilever hair brands Dove, Sunsilk, Vaseline, and Clear have teamed up with fellow brand giants Ford, Smart Communications, Cebu Pacific, Samsung, McDonald's, David's Salon, Cebuana Lhuillier, and National Bookstore for the biggest celebration of the year—The Great Hair Blow Out. The nationwide promo runs from October 1 to December 31, 2013. This is Unilever's way of thanking and rewarding their loyal customers.
Unilever's Vice President for Personal Care Gina Lorenzana shares, “The Great Hair Blow Out is our treat for the people we serve, for their continuous support throughout the years. We are excited for them to receive the many surprises that we’ve prepared for them."
With each bottle or sachet purchase from Dove, Sunsilk, Vaseline, and Clear, consumers get the chance to win exciting prizes. How exciting you ask? Well, let's just say two Ford Fiestas, 56 international and domestic flights from Cebu Pacific, 25 Samsung phones, 25 Samsung tablets, Smart prepaid load redeemable at any Cebuana Lhuillier branch, special discounts at David's Salon's services and National Bookstore, and a free upsize at McDonald's.
Unilever is not just giving away prizes, their Sachet Recovery Program aims to collect 18 million sachets from the contest as part of its campaign for environmental sustainability. Gathered empty sachets will be shredded and used to form cement pavers (used to build pathways and pavements) and will be donated to select communities all over the country.
