Malou Romero's latest collection for her jewelry brand Joaniqué is galactic in inspiration. Called Cosmic Collision, she sought the heavens for the concept: stars, planets, and comets roaming the galaxy, crossing paths, and eventually colliding with one another.

The result? Precious stones strewn across uneven canvases of gold-dipped silver that call to mind meteoric landings; daintier pieces remind one of thinly strewn space rocks, only far more brilliant and lovelier to behold. And because each piece is hewn individually by hand, no two rocks are cut the same—even in a pair of earrings, say—giving the collection a raw boldness and uniqueness.
