Who would've thought that model, television host, product endorser, and all-around beauty Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez has been in the accessory design industry for around 10 years? She has been mostly consigning her line of jewelry (under the label Ice Crystals) and earthy accessories (under the line TdLG), but just recently she has taken full control of her brand, opening her own boutique, TDLG, in Alabang Town Center.

"Opening a store, I guess, is the natural progression from consigning your products for 10 years," Tweetie explains. "It gives me the freedom to display my items within an ample space in a more creative, personal, and relatable approach. It's of course no easy gamble nor commitment on my part but it's just something I gotta do to push myself a little more, creatively and business-wise."

Early last year Tweetie divulged to us that she was indeed planning to meld Ice Crystals and TdLG together, and her boutique offers all of her creations under just one name. Both her bohemian accessories and sleek jewelry carry the TDLG name.

What can we expect to see in the boutique? "I've developed new items to widen my product range for a more complete shopping experience—minaudières, unisex cuff links, credit card holders, wallets, leather collar accessories, triple-plated sterling silver jewelry, and of course my staple items—all of which maintain the fun vibe my line has always adhered to," Tweetie reveals.
