AROUND THE WORLD WITH CHIMES

Davao’s fashion haven takes you around the globe with its annual fashion show.

As it embarks on its seventh year, there’s no better way to celebrate than for Davao's Chimes Specialty Store to take its patrons from one continent to another through its biggest fashion event yet: Travel Around the World Fashion Show. The one-stop specialty hub delivered the world to the Davaoeño style mavens right on the runway at the recent anniversary celebration.

"In this event, the fashion runway is designed to take you all over the world, and style will be our aircraft," says store manager, Renren Villena.

Chimes Specialty Store is a fashion hub that is the brainchild of the same owners of Felcris Supermarket, an established name in Davao for over 25 years. It is a three-level boutique home to both international brands and Filipino labels. It has a fusion of different styles that cater to every fashionista’s whim, creating a more personalized shopping experience for all.

With a vision to keep its clients abreast with the fast-paced fashion trends, Chimes showcased over 20 brands styled in different ways, taking inspiration from different countries the world over. Some of the brands that participated were Puma, Levi’s, Sanuk, Royal Elastics, Columbia, Freeway, R.A.F. Plains & Prints, Jack Nicklaus, Fitflops, MYTH and House of Laurel.

"This affair has been inspired by the support we get from our clients so this is also our way of thanking them and giving them more," asserts Cindy Yap, Chimes Specialty Store Vice President.
