Bag designer Amina Aranaz was first up to bat at the second wave of the Prive Fashion Series at Members Only. It was not only a night of fashion, but a night of thanksgiving too, as Amina unveiled the Aranaz Muse Bag, an exclusive handbag designed for her 10 handpicked muses.

“It's a gift as well as our version of an award for the muses”, says Amina. The ultra luxe-looking bag is crafted out of Leather, fabrics, Swarovski crystals and Mother of Pearl, and will not be available at the Aranaz stores, nor can it be made-to-order. Amina explains “The muse bag is like an Aranaz badge of style. If you see a woman with an Aranaz Muse bag you would know that she is a handpicked muse.”

So what does it take to be one of the chosen few bestowed with this special bag? “We feel that each of the muses exudes the qualities that are consistent with Aranaz. All of them are really sophisticated and glamorous women”, shares Amina. These sophisticates are: Heart Evangelista, Kelly Misa, Karylle, Isabel Roces, Audrey Tan-Zubiri, Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez, Bianca Gonzales, Bea Soriano, Rissa Mananquil, and Ariana Barouk.

Before each lovely muse laid her hands on the glittery bag, each one first worked the floor, with a different Aranaz bag in tow. “I decided to look for bags based on how I see each woman would dress up on a normal night. I also thought about things like their body frame and their height. I chose which pieces would match their personalities as well as their personal style”, says Amina of the bags from her previous collections that she sent over to each muse.
