It was to a full house that Preview magazine and Bacardi presented the second part of the Prive Fashion Series at Member's Only at the Fort. This time, it was designer Charina Sarte's night, as she celebrated fashion with nine of her muses.
Just a few hours before the show, fashionista friends like Divine Lee and Cheryl Tantengco and celebrities like Ruffa Guttierez and Phoemela Baranda all received the outfit that Charina had made especially for them. "I just got the dress today, at about 6:00pm. That shows that I really trust her," shared Divine. "She knows all my measurements. I knew she would be doing something goddess-like and I just let her to create what she wanted for me."
True to the designer's alluringly feminine aesthetic, she dressed each of her muses in Grecian goddess-inspired frocks. "I've always loved doing Grecian dresses. I wanted to do a revival of what I really love doing, but I did something new tonight," said Charina. "I did these harnesses that kind of 'de-sweetened' the style."
Structured with gold, silver, and multi-hued hardware, the soft and floaty outfits gave every girl an elegant yet edgy flair. But of course, each muse had a different look to go with the theme. "For example, with Cheryl - I gave her dress a little bit more edge because of her personality," explained Charina.
