LOUDER!

International singing sensation Charice is Preview’s first cover girl for 2012!

2011 was a big year for singer Charice; her single “Pyramid,” which headlined her self-titled album, topped charts, she joined the cast of Glee, and has been on tour with 15-time Grammy winning producer David Foster. But it’s looking like 2012 is going to be even bigger for the pint-sized chanteuse.

First up, she open’s the year for Preview magazine as the cover girl for the January-February 2012 issue. Next, she’s gearing up to release her second international album with her first single “Louder” (watch the behind the scenes video to listen to it >>) getting great reviews and her second single “Before It Explodes” now available on iTunes. And by July, catch her first Hollywood film “Here comes the Boom” as she stars alongside bigwigs Kevin James and Salma Hayek.

So yes, 2012 is going to be HUGE for Charice.

To usher in the new year, Preview’s cover girl inspires us all, not only with her talent, but also in the bold story of her look. In place of the trendy but edgy duds we’ve been seeing her in, Liz Uy put a sophisticated spin on her rocker style—think Bianca Jagger’s all-white suits in place of her ex-hubby’s leather jackets. Minimalist and graphic in whites, blacks, and vivid orange, Charice owned each outfit and worked the camera like the pro she’s become.

Get in on the behind the scenes action! You’ll catch her singing songs by Beyonce, Whitney Houston, and yes, even Imelda Papin’s “Isang Linggong Pag-Ibig,” in between takes and see her work it in front of the camera.

  • Charice looks great in the photo shoot, Congrats to Preview magazine for coming out with this look for her. This is the best I've seen of her so far . Liz Uy should be her stylist.

  • This shoot is incredibly sad. She's not an outstounding pretty girl, but I expected more from the preview team for this story. It doesn't make her look thinner, taller, or prettier at least. The styling isn't right for such a small girl. I wish there were more dresses, and neck and shoulder exposure. Charice just looks so out of place in this shoot that I pity her.

  • Hello, don't get me wrong, Charice as the model is perfect. But looking at the pics in the Photo Gallery, they don't do her justice. Amateurs can take better pics than these. What is wrong here, the camera or the photographer, i can't tell which. Just my humble opinion. I am her fan here in the USA. I want her pics to look great.

  • Hi what seems to be the problem why i cnt watch behind the scene's gallery? i cnt move to page 2 at all even clicking on next multiple times i tried in many pc
