Topshop gives you the best reasons to get all dolled up!

It's not as if you need an excuse to drop by the nearest Topshop boutique; the brand’s giving every girl 11 new reasons to expand your wardrobe. They say, “Why dress down when you can dress up?” And to help you with that, they’re debuting their Dress Up collection of statement dresses (11 styles to be exact) that are fun and need to be worn as prescribed—“with irreverence and confidence.”

Not for the meek, they’re built with Topshop’s inimitable flavor that’s perfect for those who aren’t afraid to be noticed. For the brave and the beautiful, they have dresses with sheer panels, in lace or mesh, that bare some belly or plunge down from the neckline (the styles are covered on top for balance). For the coquette, strapless sweetheart necklines are made even sweeter with sexy ruffles or elegantly layered scalloping.  And then there are the updated body-con dresses that are meant to show off a figure that doesn’t quit.

They're a step up from the other dresses the brand carries so it's definitely something you might want to cash in on. Prices range from P3000 to P7000.

  • My heart definitely screams for the blue dress with lace panels. I love how the color relaxes me and I believe that the people that would see it would feel the same way as well. I love the idea of how clothes when worn are able to positively affect other people that see them regardless of how remote and fleeting. And with this dress, I know it would emanate a really nice and relaxing mood. And for some fairly odd reason, it reminds me of a drizzly afternoon, but one that is amazing. :)

  • I love the satin bow dress! It's simple, subtly sexy, cute and conservative at the same time. Whilst the other dresses are gorgeous, this is the one dress from the bunch that I can see myself wearing to corporate events and cocktail parties. What I love more about this is its potential for layering---oh versatility! I can wear it as is with a few accessories, wear it as a top (the shoulder bows are too adorable) or layer on a blazer for a more formal approach. I love pieces that I can wear over and over again without people noticing of course. ;)

  • I love the idea that it is sexy but conservative at the same time. The thin cloth covering the neckline leaves something to the imagination. There's a peek into your body, yet it teases the spectator because it does not reveal all of you. I am a big fan of such designs that in fact my wedding gown somehow looked like this.

  • This is a great collection and I think all the dresses are good. I like the Floral multi-ruffle zip dress above all. It's just girly and very cute. It can be go with flats, heels, or even with Converse for a different vibe. It's a day or night dress too.

  • I love the heart frill bodice dress in pale pink. Pale colors are so in these days plus having one tootsie patootsie dress on your closet saves you for parties like black tie, cocktail, or even beach. Love, love! I would pair it with a pumps and favorite purse.

  • The yellow ruffle scallop dress instantly catches my eye and most definitely steals my vote! The splash of color, the cut and the playful way the fabric is layered strategically to create body without losing shape is a great way to maintain that fresh summer vibe especially as we enter the gloomy and rainy season.   • LBDs are just one of a kind. Very simple yet versatile. With different kinds of twists, they'd be able to bring out a perfect result. The one-shoulder tie bow dress is perfectly amazing, either for the skinny or for a bit chubby. It'll wrap up your entire figure and flatters your shape. More alluring with nude clutch and nude peep toe pumps plus rouge glowing matte lipstick in coral red. Finished with loose curls. Smile! Off to go, girl. :)

  • For me Black bandage panel dress is the best coz I really like the cut of the dress coz it's clearly showing how flattering it is to one's body. the embroidered beads on the top exudes sexiness as well. it's really stunning and gorgeous coz it's not the typical dress that you can see every where.

  • I think dress #3 is perfect! The scallop bodice is intricate and the bow makes this number sweet and dainty. The classic bow for the classic girl! The yellow is just the right amount of subtleness that even makes it more delicate. The ruffles complete the whole look with the small pleated details. This would be great for a cocktail party, paired off with simple jewelry, a cute purse, and red stilettos! The perfect dress for the simple girl but with a touch of kink!   • OMG, the red dress with the red lace panels is the KILLER. It's the perfect dress for a seductive femme fatale who is stealthily exuding a demure character before devouring its prey. It's a dress that you can wear on evening events, and also at office affairs, because it's conservative. It doesn't show too much skin; it's lace panels leaves a mystery which guys love, at the same time. I'd wear this with my hair up, black peep-toe pumps and black clutch. There's really no need for so much accessory, I believe pearl earrings would do. The red dress itself is the bomb.
