POND'S X PLAINS & PRINTS

The beauty brand and retail label collaborate to unveil a limited edition collection.

By Nikki Santiago

Leading beauty brand, Pond's, and home-grown clothing brand, Plains & Prints, synergized to showcase a collaboration of fashion's finest and beauty's best. The big brands recently unveiled a limited edition collection featuring 22 red and white dresses representing each of their philosophies.

Each design is a creative fusion of textiles, new techniques and fine detailing aimed at complementing different body types and tastes. The collection brings in several silhouettes: A-line, drop-waist, tulip cut, stingray cut, overlap draping, and peplum tops. It also features heat-pressed stamping and digital printing over sequins on some of the pieces, advanced processes that Plains & Prints has introduced to the industry.

To launch these new beauty and style statements, Pond's and Plains & Prints brought together the country's most sought-after fashion and beauty icons. The collection is led by Pond's spokesperson Rissa Mananquil and Plains & Prints'image model Celine Lopez who are joined by Divine Lee, Apples Aberin, Kelly Misa, Patty Betita, Mai Kaufmann, and Bianca Valerio.

The red and white limited edition line will be available at stores on July 3, 2010.

  • i think they copied the j&j+bayo campaign. i love plains&prints but i wish they used a little more creativity. the bayo collection isnt so great either. it all looks like lingerie. its all pink and white, while this one is all red and white. another interpretation?
