We're loving this cute new trend that adds a bit of dandy or dainty to any outfit. We've been seeing the detachable collar on the runways of Louis Vuitton, both for Autumn/Winter 2011 and Spring/Summer 2012, as well as Carven Spring/Summer 2012. We even spotted a sequined poplin collar in Karl Lagerfeld's exclusive collection for Net-A-Porter, Karl.

The nice thing about it is that they come in various finishes, embellishments and prints that really change it's effect on whatever you pair it with! You can instantly add some character to your outfit by simply adding a collar!
