What made you want to try this trend?
I bought this chambray shirt way back when the weather was cooler but I want to maximize it even during summer.

How do you build your outfit around it?
I paired it with white pleated pants, a sequined tribal clutch and pastel yellow pumps. Nothing says summer more than light, float-y pieces and a punch of color.

How do you make the look your own?
Since I wore this outfit for work, I made sure that it still looked polished and not too casual. As much as I would have loved to be in a short and beach-inspired ensemble, not everyone can be on vacation during summer.

How do you balance your outfit to avoid making it look over-the-top?
I made sure that the outfit had clean lines and that the colors looked light and fresh to make it “weather-appropriate.”

Can you give tips on how to wear this trend?
Keep the look fresh by pairing it with airy or float-y pieces. Sticking to a lighter color palette also makes it look more like summer.

How would you wear it during the day, night, to a party, to work?
For day, I'd love to wear this with cream-colored crochet shorts or a white leather skirt. At night or to a party, I'd wear it with a sequined skirt or gold pants.
